Courses and memberships: lessons, students and certificates
Build a course from modules and lessons, enrol students who learn from a private link, and give them a verifiable completion certificate.
Courses and Memberships live under Websites & content. A course is made of modules, and each module holds lessons.
Creating a course
- Click New course, enter a name and description, and choose the Access: Free, Paid, Subscription or Invite only.
- Add a module, then add lessons. The Lesson type can be video, text, PDF, quiz, assignment or live.
- For a video lesson choose the video source and enter its link or ID. Where the option is available, you can also require the video to be watched before the lesson counts as complete.
- Use Unlocks to release lessons gradually, and mark some as a Free preview lesson.
- Publish the course, then copy the Course page link to share it.
Students and access
- Enrol a student by hand with Enrol student, or let paid courses enrol buyers automatically after payment through your own gateway.
- Each student gets a personal Student link to follow lessons and take quizzes without a platform account.
- Follow each student's progress and drop-off point, and Revoke access at any time.
Completion certificates
Enable the certificate in the course settings and set the Pass mark % for quizzes. On completion a PDF certificate is issued with a serial number and a public verification link showing the student, course, issue date and issuing business. A certificate whose access was revoked shows as revoked.
Memberships
In Memberships create a plan with a recurring price, choose the content it unlocks, and share the join link.
